Converse Models launched in Derry / Londonderry, Northern Ireland in February 2008. After setting up Converse Communications, Converse Models' sister company, Public Relations Consultant, Donal Doherty found it difficult to get models for photocalls in his native city of Derry / Londonderry.
Until now, through lack of a local choice, businesses in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland carrying out activity outside of Belfast have had to turn to agencies in Belfast for models and promotional people. With a Belfast based model or promotional person travelling to events and photocalls across Northern Ireland the client is required to pay the model's travel to and from the region adding a hefty travel cost to the model's fee.
Converse Models is changing the status quo by introducing Northern Ireland’s local modelling and promotions agency.
